Preserving peppermint

I recently purchased a chocolate mint plant that I LOVE and wanted to preserve the leaves for tea or whatever, so I did.

I went out and pruned off a bunch of leaves…

Then of course I rinsed them real good…

The leaves are just beautiful!!

Then I filled up an ice cube tray with water and stuck leaves in each one to freeze it for use in hot teas and the like.
