Homemade pumpkin spice latte!

When I realized making a pumpkin spice latte from home was pretty simple, I jumped all over it!  Here’s what you need:

Ingredients: -pumpkin puree (like for pumpkin pie) -strongish coffee. (Decaf or regular) – pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger) – milk -sugar -coolwhip

1. Brew your strong coffee. For one cup at a time: fill the cup halfway, put one spoonful of pumpkin puree in and stir till blended. Add the spices (equal parts of all, but go light on the ginger.  Season to taste).  Keep stirring.  Add milk and sugar.  If it needs to be warmed more just warm it in the microwave and then top w coolwhip, garnish w nutmeg!

2.  For multiple cups:  pour the brewed coffee into a big pot over medium/low heat.  Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup pumpkin puree and stir until dissolved.  Add spices to taste, equal parts, lighter on the ginger.  Add milk and sugar till it is desired strength.  Let it get hot enough to serve but then turn off the burner bc milk will burn.  Serve up w coolwhip on top and garnish w nutmeg!

Enjoy your fabulous fall-in-a-cup drink!
